(using 3.4.4 as included in Debian Wheezy)

Very serious potential privacy concerns from this bug.

To reproduce:

1. Set up multiple mail accounts in Evolution 3.4.4 (and probably later
versions as well...),

2. Make one of them the Default account,

3. Have mail sending configuration mis-configured on a non-default account (ie,
wrong SMTP port),

4. Compose a message with mis-configured account,

5. Hit "Send" button, wait for send timeout, select "Save to Outbox,"

6. Fix SMTP configuration for that account, (or perhaps that's not even
necessary)

7. Select Outbox under "On This Computer" (not under an account),

8. Open the failed message (note that it shows the correct From: address before
this, in the preview pane),

9. The message fully opened from the Outbox now has the default account as its
From: field,

10. Flushing the outbox will actually send the message from the default account
and NOT the account it was composed by.

I am assuming that this is related to
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317337 and possibly
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336495 but it may not be.

This is a very troubling bug (or set of bugs) for anyone with very distinct and
separate personal/work/superhero/etc email addresses.

Thanks for your efforts.
