Package: libsane Version: 1.0.24-1.1+b1 Severity: normal Hello,
I have a Fujitsu ScanSnap S510. After the libsane and libsane-common update from 1.0.23-3+b1 to 1.0.24-1.1+b1, it became mostly unusable because the brigthness/contrast (on gray scans) or threshold (on B&W scans) no longer has any effect, and the results, though barely legible, are too dark to use as-is. Downgrading libsane and libsane-common to 1.0.23-3+b1 fixed the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libsane:amd64 depends on: ii acl 2.2.52-1 ii adduser 3.113+nmu3 ii libavahi-client3 0.6.31-4 ii libavahi-common3 0.6.31-4 ii libc6 2.17-97 ii libexif12 0.6.21-1 ii libgphoto2-6 2.5.3.1-1 ii libgphoto2-port10 2.5.3.1-1 ii libieee1284-3 0.2.11-12 ii libjpeg8 8d-2 ii libsane-common 1.0.24-1.1 ii libtiff5 4.0.3-7 ii libusb-1.0-0 2:1.0.17-1+b1 ii libv4l-0 1.0.1-1 ii multiarch-support 2.17-97 ii udev 204-6 Versions of packages libsane:amd64 recommends: ii libsane-extras 1.0.22.3 ii sane-utils 1.0.24-1.1+b1 Versions of packages libsane:amd64 suggests: ii avahi-daemon 0.6.31-4 ii hplip 3.14.1-1 pn hpoj <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
