Package: exo-utils Version: 0.10.2-2 Followup-For: Bug #720377 I can confirm this: exo-open is basically useless for anything that is not their 4 intented applications (mail, web, terminal, file). It is confusing to the user, and it does not degrade gracefully. It does not try to get a handler from the MIME database, from the gconf url-handlers, the .desktop files, or even tries to call gvfs-open if it is present.
