Starting with 2.37a blender uses an internal copy of openal, so this FTBFS doesn't show anymore in a current Sid environment. As blender has been removed from Testing due to general bugginess, and safely assuming 2.36 as present in Sarge still builds fine, this bug could simply be closed. However, using an internal copy of a library when a Debian package is available can be considered a bug of its own, so for now I prefer just changing this bug a tiny little bit and leave it to the maintainer how to best deal with this once he comes back actually maintaining this package. Cheers, Flo
