For the Obnam list: this is a wishlist bug in Debian about the names
of generation directories invented by the Obnam FUSE plugin. Osamu
Aoki would like them to be named by timestamp, instead of the current
generation id.

Thank you. I am always happy to hear when people have restored their
data successfully with Obnam.

Thank you for this suggestion. I think I like it, but I will ask on
the Obnam mailing list what others think. I don't like
having multiple view modes, that's just one more thing for users to
configure, but I am thinking naming the generations like this might
work:

    2014-03-13_212522_12765

or as a pattern:

    YYYY-MM-DD-HHMMSS_GGG

where GGG is the generation id. Would that be OK with you?
