I have been hitting the same bug, too, and confirm it is extremely
annoying.
It seems to me that upstream devs have fixed the bug. According to :

I understand it is commited into fluxbox source tree and will be part

1.3.6.
Could please the debian package maintainers integrate this patch into a
1.3.5 update please, at least into unstable ?
