can you please tell something more around your constellation? Is this a fresh installation? Have you tried to start in safe mode? Have you tried to backup your current config an setup a complete new profile? >From which provider is your first email account? What tells Icedove in the error console or equal what's printed out in the terminal if you start Icedove in a terminal window?
