Package: xfce4-power-manager Followup-For: Bug #742476 Dear Maintainer,
On a whim, tried using slim for the login management rather than xdm and found that now I can suspend/hibernate correctly. Somehow xdm must not initialise policy in the same way as slim. Still a bit of an issue I would think, but I have a reasonable work around now.
