Package: quota Version: 4.00~pre1-6 Severity: normal
Even when using journalled quotas on a filesystem which has had quotacheck run on it manually to ensure it is accurate, quotacheck still gets run on boot when 'quota' is started by init. This is unnecessary and adds 30 minutes to my system's boot time. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.9 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages quota depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.36.1 Debian configuration management sy ii e2fslibs 1.41.12-4stable1 ext2/ext3/ext4 file system librari ii libc6 2.11.3-4 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcomerr2 1.41.12-4stable1 common error description library ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.24-4+squeeze2 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libldap-2.4-2 2.4.23-7.3 OpenLDAP libraries ii libnl1 1.1-6 library for dealing with netlink s ii libwrap0 7.6.q-19 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra ii lsb-base 3.2-23.2squeeze1 Linux Standard Base 3.2 init scrip quota recommends no packages.
