Package: hpoj
Version: 0.91-9
Severity: important

I can no longer print to my parallel-port OfficeJet K80 printer.

When probing using "ptal-init setup", it reports

    *** ptal-mlcd failed to start! Check syslog file for error messages.

/var/log/lpr.log contains:

    Nov 17 21:21:33 kumara ptal-mlcd: FATAL ERROR at ParPort.cpp:48,
    dev=<mlc:par:probe>, pid=6847, e=1, t=1132222893
