Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.7.8
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

the man page interfaces(5) is misleading regarding the "source"
statment; it shows as an example

       source interfaces.d/machine-dependent

This leads to the wrong conclusion that the expected file name is
relative to the /etc/network directory, while in fact is is better
given as an absolute filename.

regards,

cm.
