Hello, Sorry but I'm not a Debian user any more. Nevertheless, as I remember this bug was connected with the kernel itself (found it somewhere in red hat, fedora or even kernel mailing lists) and it disappeared after the next kernel upgrade (version 3.xx). Since that I haven't come across this bug any more.
