Bug#745215: Acknowledgement (/sbin/cfdisk: Installation doesn't correctly detect disks)

Update.  I tried Fedora Core 18's live CD.  It correctly identifies disk 
2 as an NTFS disk, so it isn't a systematic problem with Linux or with 
my BIOS settings.

I suspect that disk 1 includes a hidden recovery partition, so let's 
please focus on why Debian claims disk 2 is empty when it isn't.
