Can you please check Tools -> Preferences -> Browser -> Browser If you have a browser set there that isn't installed then you're going to get an error. We've tried to suggest to upstream that maybe they should only list browsers installed on the system but they think it makes the browser configuration unnecessarily complicated and it also makes sense in a way, because they want to make sure they only list browsers there that they've confirmed to work with liferea (as far as passing urls to the browser and such, it isn't as standardized as it should be). You can use the generic x-www-browser option and then configure which browser to use with update-alternatives --config x-www-browser. As you add/remove browsers from the system, dpkg will automatically update the x-www-browser option so if you set that in liferea it *should* always work. If it doesn't, let me know. Last I checked, x-www-browser is the default.. And so long as you have a web browser on your system installed from the debian repos, x-www-browser should point to it. Otherwise, you will need to configure it manually. Let me know what browser you have configured in liferea and whether or not you have that browser installed. Keep in mind that "Firefox" is not the same as "Iceweasel" because the app specifically expects the firefox bin to be in your user's path. -David -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
