Just wanted to represent here as well. I'm still actively supporting grsecurity for sparc64 and have a SunFire V220, and three Blade 2500 workstations here (one being used for parts). Overall, the sparc port has worked very well for me for the past 9 years or so -- thanks to everyone involved. I've had a few problems over the years, some reported by others like the installer that was broken for some time due to a panic in newer NMI code, others including some unaligned kernel accesses and the faulty TSB code that made non-executable data executable I reported myself. I would be very sad if support for sparc were to go away!
I don't have the background or time to maintain any sparc packages as grsecurity already takes up the majority of my free time, but I'd be happy to assist in any other way I can, including buying hardware for maintainers. Just let me know. I'd planned for some time to port PaX's KERNEXEC feature to sparc, so hopefully Debian's port will stick around long enough to be able to use it :) Thanks, -Brad
