Package: maxima Version: 5.33.0-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
Using both the wxmaxima interface or the CLI, when I try to plot the simplest thing in maxima I get the following error: (%i2) plot2d(sin(x), [x, -2*%pi, 2*%pi]); (%o2) /home/candres/maxout.gnuplot_pipes (%i3) (gnuplot:9483): GLib-ERROR **: creating thread 'gdbus': Error creating thread: Resource temporarily unavailable Trace/breakpoint trap Gnuplot by itself works like a charm and I have the same gnuplot version (through backports) on wheezy systems and maxima plots just fine. This is quite an important bug in my opinion Andres -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable'), (175, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.11.10.9-desktop.1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages maxima depends on: ii libc6 2.18-5 ii libgmp10 2:6.0.0+dfsg-2 ii libreadline6 6.3-6 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.2-1 Versions of packages maxima recommends: ii gnuplot-x11 4.6.5-1 ii maxima-share 5.33.0-2 Versions of packages maxima suggests: ii maxima-doc 5.33.0-2 pn maxima-emacs <none> pn texmacs <none> ii tk [wish] 8.6.0+8 pn xmaxima <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
