Package: gramps
Version: 4.0.3+dfsg-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Out of a sudden, I am unable to edit notes in gramps.

Steps to reproduce:
- start gramps
- goto "notes" screen
- klick on "+" ('add a new note')
 - the note-editor opens up
- type something into the text-field (e.g. "blabla")
- klick on "OK"
=> a popup window occurs with the content
      Cannot save note
      No data exists for this note. Please enter data or cancel the edit.

funnily enough, when i open a family-tree with existing notes, these notes are
all previewed in the "Notes"-screen.
However, when i open up a note, it appears to be empty (no text in the
text-editor).

the behaviour started (iirc) not before 2014-04-22 (that was the day when i
added my last note), but soon thereafter (or even on that day).
the "gramps" installation has definitely NOT been changed between working and
non-working notes-editor, though i often upgrade my system (i upgraded my system
on 2014-04-22 and 2014-04-24)
i therefore suspect some related gir/gtk package-upgrade to be the culprit.

gir-packages recently upgraded (according to my aptitude.log)
[UPGRADE] gir1.2-gdkpixbuf-2.0:amd64 2.30.6-1 -> 2.30.7-1
[UPGRADE] gir1.2-vte-2.90:amd64 1:0.34.9-1 -> 1:0.36.0-2
