Package: grub-pc Version: 1.99-27+deb7u2 Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer, on this Dual Boot machine with Debian 7 and Windows Vista, the Vista disppeared from the boot menu. I suspect this is the result of some update recently. I have seen this same thing on other hosts, decided to report now that I have seen it several times. I reboot so seldom and even more seldom boot to Windows, so this may have been a long time ago. Datestamp for /boot/grub/grub.cfg is 2nd May. kopiokone@mistraali:/boot/grub$ ls -lh grub.cfg -r--r--r-- 1 root root 3,3K touko 2 12:46 grub.cfg Running update-grub fixes the boot menu: root@mistraali:~# update-grub Generating grub.cfg ...
