Hi, I can confirm that it is scim's bug (actually, scim gtk-immodule's bug). The bug came from the migration of scim-bridge, I tried to fix it once but I didn't figure it out at that time. I will try to fix it if my time is available...
By the way, there is a workaround for this bug. Since the bug is in scim's gtk-immodule, use XIM should work fine. $ env GTK_IM_MODULE="xim" gedit It works fine here. Thanks, Tz-Huan
