While qtmobility is declared as an optional component:

--
 "make[2]: Leaving directory
'/home/jmm/tupi-0.2+git04/configure.tests/ffmpeg'\n"] * Result: [ OK ]
 * Priority: optional
 * Checking for Qt Mobility...
--

Running a build without qtmobility leads to a failing build:

---
 * Compiling test...
["make[2]: Entering directory
'/home/jmm/tupi-0.2+git04/configure.tests/mobility'\n", "rm -f main.o\n", "rm
-f *~ core *.core\n", "make[2]: Leaving directory
'/home/jmm/tupi-0.2+git04/configure.tests/mobility'\n"]main.cpp:42:19: fatal
error: QCamera: File or directory not found
 #include <QCamera>
                   ^
compilation terminated.
----

According to the INSTALL file qtmobibility is used to access cameras.

I recommend to make tupi linux-any for now and file removal bugs for the
hurd and kfreebsd binaries

If they're interested kfreebsd or hurd porters can port the code to make
qtmobility optional.

Cheers,
        Moritz
