Package: open-vm-tools
Version: 2:9.4.0-1280544-6
Severity: serious
Tags: upstream
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)

Dear Maintainer,

Upgrading debain unstable to the latest packages, installing new debian
provided kernel
I did "apt-get update; apt-get upgrade; apt-get dist-upgrade".
The kernel-modules for new debian kernel where not compiled and installed
because of various errors.

I'd expected kernel-modules for new debian kernel compiled and installed and
loaded.
