Hello, I believe this bug report can be closed.
There is no conflicting package in unstable. python-pipeline is no longer maintained upstream, was orphaned, and now has been removed from unstable *and* testing. http://packages.qa.debian.org/p/python-pipeline.html http://bugs.debian.org/747043 If no one objects soon, I will close this bug report.
