Hello! This is a reminder that it might be useful to look at this removal bug again.
The last time around it was discussed that removing it would make the "gnome" meta-package uninstallable on kfreebsd. Since the kfreebsd porters request on removing gnome-shell and gdm3 where acted on without any considerations on how it would affect reverse dependencies (including "gnome-core" and transitively "gnome") we now have a situation where "gnome" is already uninstallable on kfreebsd, so I assume this previous blocker for removing rygel no longer exists. Removing rygel on kfreebsd would allow me to re-enable the testsuite on this architecture again (which would block the package from re-entering until it has been fixed) and we have one less "known broken" package shipped in the archive. Thanks for reconsidering this request. Regards, Andreas Henriksson -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [email protected]
