Package: pycurl
Version: 7.19.3.1-1
Severity: serious
Usertags: goto-cc

During a rebuild of all Debian packages in a clean sid chroot (using cowbuilder
and pbuilder) the build failed with the following error.

[...]

       -> Cannot install libssh2-1-dev; apt errors follow:

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 librtmp-dev : Depends: libgnutls-dev but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
E: Could not satisfy build-dependency.

A further investigation suggests that the problem is

- librtmp-dev --depends--> libgnutls-dev --depends--> libgcrypt11-dev
- libssh2-1-dev --depends--> libgcrypt20-dev --conflicts--> libgcrypt11-dev

Hence you may wish to reassign this bug report in case there is a chance for
libgnutls-dev's build dependencies can be bumped to seemingly newer libgcrypt20.
As is, however, the pycurl package cannot be built.

Best,
Michael
