I know how to disabled it (already did so), I'm sorry if I was apparantly unclear: I'm argueing for *not* having this option enabled by default in the package, for reasons outlined in my earlier mail, more so because it's also not the default upstream -- and I don't see a very good reason to override upstream here, rather the opposite.
