Hi Yoric, to copy text, you can hold shift and drag a frame. When you release the mouse button, a pop-up menu will give you the option to copy the text in that area. (Unfortunately, qpdfview does not yet support line-wise marking and copying of text, because the corresponding feature is not yet present in the Poppler library and the developer of qpdfview does not want to implement it from scratch, but this should be supported with the next version of Poppler.)
4. Could you check if you can copy text from the PDF file, for which the search does not work? 5. Have you tried the search in okular or evince? 6. Does text search work with English djvu files? Thank you for taking the time for this further investigation. I hope it will help narrow down the problem. Best, Benjamin > Hi Benjamin > > BE> 1.
