Package: xterm Version: 306-1 Severity: normal Starting with xterm-306-1, when I run /usr/bin/reset in an xterm, the pointerMode goes back to default, ignoring my resource setting of "never":
arf$ xrdb -query | grep pointerMode xterm*pointerMode: 0 It looks like this is due to a change in version 305 to ReallyReset, in charproc.c, where the mode is put back to default: + screen->pointer_mode = DEF_POINTER_MODE; Is there a way to have it honor the resource setting, even after a reset?
