Hello =)

Having the same problem – gnome keyring prompts, file-roller,
Transmission property windows, Nautilus prompts, and Eye of Gnome
prompts, and certainly more, are affected.

These windows are always placed at screen position 0x0, made immovable,
and set to always-on-top. The result is particularly awful with my
layout, which looks a bit like this:

              +-----------+
 *****        |           |
+------------+|           |
|            ||           |
|  Screen 0  ||  Screen 1 |
|            ||           |
+------------+|           |
              |           |
              +-----------+

The ***** field is where the gnome dialogs are placed – slightly outside
the screen.

IMHO, the window manager should always be able to move windows,
regardless of any hints or settings the program itself wants to force.

Hope we can find a fix or workaround for this.

Smiles,
