I've noticed that in newer HTML documentation template, doxygen uses jquery for folding some optional sections (inheritance/collaboration diagrams or call graphs, for example), but it doesn't include jquery.js in HTML documentation tree, which makes these section unusable, since they do not unfold on click. I suppose that the problem has been introduced by https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=622147 fix, since enabling of GENERATE_TREEVIEW option led to inclusion of jquery.js, which makes this folding sections successfully unfold on click.
