Hi, John Johansen's replies in the relevant thread [1] on the upstream mailing list helps building confidence in shipping the 2.8.95 userspace, combined with a kernel that has no out-of-tree AppArmor patches. When discussing this on IRC a few days ago, Kees seemed to lean toward this too.
