unfortunately this helps nothing to find the reason for this issues. Without a backtrace there is nothing what we could do. We need at least the adresses of the data why there is something segfaulting. Are other software also ending up in a segfault? Do you have special hardware used or something special in your desktop environment? Do you have checked the RAM for possible errors?
