Noticing this too after updating to 2.2.0+repack0-1 with a Huawei E398
on armhf.
I had to manually edit /lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules to
specific the full path to the wrapper as follows:
--- ATTRS{idVendor}=="12d1", ATTR{bInterfaceNumber}=="00",
ATTR{bInterfaceClass}=="08", RUN+="usb_modeswitch '%b/%k'"
+++ ATTRS{idVendor}=="12d1", ATTR{bInterfaceNumber}=="00",
ATTR{bInterfaceClass}=="08", RUN+="/lib/udev/usb_modeswitch '%b/%k'"
