Now and then the trouble reappear, so i've asked in the samba and
openldap italian lists.
Someone point me to:

seems that samba are compiled against libldap 2.1, where openldap
installed are 2.2.
Also, in openldap italian list someone point me to:

a 2.1 bug that seems like this, fixed in 2.2.
Looking at debian archives, seems that all ldap-enabled applications
and tool are compiled against libldap 2.1, and there's even no
libldap-2.2-dev package on archives.
Why? Could be this the cause of trouble?
