Hi Zlatan, i just noticed i was passing the "--name" parameter to mpv via mpsyt "playerargs" option, which i needed to position the window in my window manager. But according to [1], the "--name" parameter has been replaced by "--x11-name" in the latest 0.4.0 release, and indeed this change was breaking the whole thing.
I should have checked it earlier, but i didn't rememer i configured it that way. So... this bug is not a bug, and mps-youtube is now working as expected :) Thanks anyways for your time.
