I'm not sure it's worth it. After all, the kernel team already provides a 3.14 backport so they are unlikely to spend time on the 3.12 backports kernel. Are you ok with closing this bug report? I don't think there is anything to do from the systemd side here. -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
