In the long run, we will want to switch Debian to the new in-kernel rngd, and enhance THAT one if it is missing any important feature. Debian could switch to rng-tools 5, but that will break user configs as our rng-tools is very different, and some functionality will be lost. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
