I see. Thanks for your work and sorry about the noise. BTW, my last package that had to go through NEW made it in just five days, so don't underestimate Joerg... ;) All in all it seems this is an argument in favor of "PTS: more queue events (like "put in NEW", "rejected") would be helpful" as filed in <http://bugs.debian.org/317711>, as with more such events I wouldn't have troubled you this time.
