Package: ncurses-base
Version: 5.9+20140712-2
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

I upgraded the ncurses-base package from 5.9+20140118-1 to
this 5.9+20140712-2 version. Next I started a brand new tmux
session with TERM=screen-256color and observed that reverse
video no longer worked properly (I see italic font instead).

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

I downgraded the ncurses-base package back to 5.9+20140118-1
and started another tmux session, wherein the problem ceased
to occur: reverse video appeared correctly as reverse video.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Upgrading to ncurses-base 5.9+20140712-2 broke reverse video.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Upgrading to ncurses-base 5.9+20140712-2 should not break
     reverse video.

Thanks for your consideration.
