Hi, thanks for the info,

"/var/lib/ispell/" should have been created by ibrazilian preinst and filled
with an empty "/var/lib/ispell/ibrazilian.compat" file. Later in trigger
(enabled from postinst) a ibrazilian.hash hash file had to be created and a
version string written to that compat file.

If above directory does not exists, ibrazilian postinst should have failed.

Seems that neither ispell dictionaries nor wordlists are ugraded in this
run, just dictionaries-common.

I guess this was an one time problem due to something removing that
"/var/lib/ispell/ibrazilian.compat" file and causing empty "/var/lib/ispell/"
removal.

I tried to reproduce this problem also in wheezy to sid upgrades. No
success. I am tagging this as unreproducible, but will wait for some time
in case somebody else can reproduce this problem and provide more info. If
not, I will close it, after trying harder not to remove empty
"/var/lib/ispell/" if ispell dictionaries are instaled. This will not fix
the problem if it reappears, but should provide better info.

Thanks again for all the feedback,

Regards,
