It seems that autoreconf doesn't work smoothly on xfconf automake files. Feel free to solve it with dh-autoreconf.

Do you mind providing me the link where you explained why this is low priority? I understand that ppc64el is not a official architecture for now, but, we are trying to add it as an official architecture for Jessie.
