Package: gscan2pdf
Version: 1.2.5-1
Severity: wishlist

It's already super that you implemented the possibility to have
newly saved files open up for human verification. Unfortunately, it
uses xdg-open, I think, and xdg-open makes way too many assumptions
about your desktop, especially if you don't have one: #661171

Would it be possible to make this configurable, e.g. either let me
choose the method (run-mailcap has worked for decades and didn't
need to be reinvented), or even just specify a complete path?

Thanks,
