Hi, I'm not sure what is causing this to happen on your machine, however it works fine for me on 3 different systems. Maybe some files in your ~/.imms directory are corrupted. Try to rename or remove that directory and see if makes any difference, or even run it as a different user. In the mean time I'm lowering the severity of the bug report to normal.
