Control: retitle -1 'Asciidoc: splitting package for vim syntax files' Control: tags -1 = pending
Hi, After several tries I decided to split the package into 2. One for the current asciidoc package and one containing only vim syntax file and yaml file. As upstream removed its ftdetect file (they had found no agreements in the community), I added one really basic one which detects the ".adoc" and ".asciidoc" extension which is at least more user-friendly that no detection at all. The vim addon is disabled by default as explained in the debian/vim-asciidoc.README.Debian and you activate it using vim-addon-manager/vim-addons. The commit in the alioth repo is: 7a7b6fa In this commit I cleaned up the debian files to be able to split the package easily, so the split for example to separate the documentation/examples or to have a package for html or man pages generation would be easier (not relying on *tex packages for example).
