I am seeing this on: wheezy running inside a KVM (on fedora20):

Poking around with ximput. I discovered movements of my mouse
were being seen in wheezy VM as "tablet".

The VM config (in virtual Machine Manager) did indeed have a tablet defined.

I deleted this tablet (and also a 2nd mouse created while banging my head against the wall WRT this bug)
and using xinput inside wheezy I saw a new 'tablet appear'

Testing using xinput I can see that my mouse events are appearing on this tablet and not on the "ExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse"

If I stop spice-vdagent , the "spice vdagent tablet disappears, mouse input then appears on "ExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse"
and the mouse wheel starts to work (appears as buttons 4 & 5)
