In this case, the error happened during boot and the card is now unavailabke ("ip addr" does not even list the interface). I also saw this error appearing while running the machine and using a wireless, in which case the connection dropped and got successfully re-restablished - but that only happened with a particular wireless, that also showed other problems earlier (still it shouldn't be able to crash my card...). firmware-iwlwifi is at version 0.43.
