One wonders what would have happened if 3.5 was released just after the
freeze, rather than just before it. If it would have been ok to leave
the default at 3.4 in that case, I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to
leave the default at 3.4 in this case too.

Which may include us having to rebuild every single haskell package in
debian on armel and armhf, because god knows what is breaking how. :/
