Package: bash
Version: 4.3-9.2
Severity: normal

I messed my fingers while editing a commandline and trying to get a a
completion, resulting in this assertion:

yann@home:omaha2 (wip/multistep|REBASE-i 54/60)$ noset
Omaha.test.test_shogi:test_loadpgn
yann@home:omaha2 (wip/multistep|REBASE-i 54/60)$
yann@home:omaha2 (wip/multistep|REBASE-i 54/60)$ nosete
Omaha.test.test_shogi:test_loadpgn
malloc : .././bashline.c:1745 : assertion manquée
free : appelé avec un bloc déjà libéré comme argument
dernière commande : ./scripts/omaha Omaha.test.test_shogi:test_loadpgn
Annulation...

The cursor was after the "nosete" string, and I expected the
completion to find "nosetests". I had just modified the line, from
the previous command, and a couple of unwanted keystrokes had resulted
in psychadelic results that are hard to describe after the fact
(notably insertion of unwanted text of undetermined origin).

Could not reproduce afterwards.
