Package: hunspell-gl-es Version: 2.2a-11 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
the hunspell dictionary provided by this package wasn't updated in years, probably because the original organization that created it disappeared. After that, there is a community effort in maintaining this dictionary which successfully improved its quality. This version provides: - support for the new version of the DRAG (the dictionary from the academy of the Galician language). - includes vocabulary for specialized fields - lots of fixes for errors reported by users Also, as far as I can tell, it is the only one which is been actively maintained. The source code of the new version can be found here: https://github.com/meixome/hunspell-gl And pre-packaged versions can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/hunspell-gl/files/estables/ I'd like to see this version in the official Debian archive, and so I offer my help to prepare the package if needed. While I haven't maintained any official Debian package, I do have some experience creating Debian packages for personal and internal enterprise projects.
