Hello, I've tested the patches in comments #4 and #5 in http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?35757
#4 seems to fix the problem here that is reproducible as described in the original submission in http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?35757. This problem occured for me in Debian stable with my screenrc (I can attach it if you need it). The patch from #5 alone doesn't seem to fix the issue, but it might be a good idea to apply it anyways. I'll install patched packages around here, test them further and report back.
