Source: goocanvas
Severity: wishlist

I would like to have goocanvas 2.x in Debian sid, I need it for
ocrfeeder 0.8.

At the moment there are packages of Goocanvas 2.0.2 in experimental,
they have been there for a while and I tested them with ocrfeeder.

I think they can be moved to sid without changes, however since
there are many other packages that depend on the older versions of
goocanvas, both versions must be kept, so a different source package
name should be used for the new version.

What's the opinion of the maintainers about this?
